Doorbells will get a workout this October! This is the time of year where disguises abound and everyone from the little princess to the patch-eyed pirate make their way to our front doors and ring the bell hoping to score big. They want a treat and most of the time they get what they came for. But what about the rest of the year? Does the doorbell stop ringing? Not a chance! In the Christian life there is always somebody at the door wanting something. Our doorbells get pushed every day, but instead of cute kids dressed like superheroes or a little puppy, there are ferocious beings whose objective is to derail your Christian life. They are not kids. They are demons and their disguise is far more elaborate. The Bible unmasks Satan and his army of demons. They are real. They are powerful. They are destructive. Which is why we better know how to identify them and fight against, what the apostle Paul calls, the spiritual forces of evil in  the heavenly places.
