What to Expect
What version of the Bible do you use?
The Pastor preaches from the the English Standard Version (ESV) of the Bible in all preaching and teaching. While there are many good translations, we have chosen this because of its reliability and readability.
What is the preaching like?
You can expect expositional preaching every Sunday. You might wonder what that is. Well, simply put, it means you will open your Bible on Sunday to one portion of Scripture and never have to turn the page for the entire service. This will allow you better understanding and application for daily life.
What is your music like?
We sing mostly traditional songs in our worship service.
Am I expected to give?
We do not pass an offering plate, but we have one available for those who wish to put an offering in.
Is there something for my kids?
Parents and children attend the worship service together. However, we do have a room available should you need to step out of the service with your child for some reason.
What should I wear?
It’s up to you. Most of the people who attend wear casual clothes.
How long does the worship service last?
We start at 10:30am and are out by noon. This includes our hour worship service. If you’d like to stick around after the worship service we have refreshments followed by an interactive Life Application session which lasts about 20 minutes. Our Life App is a great way to really apply that week’s message to your everyday life. You can just listen or ask questions during Life App. It’s all up to you!
